Marieva began studying music and piano at an early age. She obtained the academic title of Performing Pianist, studied contemporary harmony, composition and improvisation and flamenco dance. The musical language created by Marieva reflects in her compositions fundamental elements of academic music, jazz, flamenco and also Venezuelan music.

Her three albums have been praised by the most prominent Venezuelan musicians and deserving of awards and recognitions. The first CD, “Piano de Ida y Vuelta (2010), is a solo piano with a repertoire of classical works and own compositions. The second «Un piano, dos hermanas» (2014) and the most recent «Travesía, canciones de Latinoamérica» ​​(2017), were recorded with his sister, the pianist, singer and songwriter Prisca Dávila. Both records  contain four-handed songs, her own compositions and, classics of Venezuelan and Latin American music.

She has performed at concerts and festivals in Venezuela, Canada, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, The Netherlands, and Korea.
